On Monday, June 23rd, 2025, The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey (OINJ) and the Elle Foundation came together once again to host their 3rd Annual Golf Outing at Panther Valley Golf Club in Allamuchy, NJ. The annual event raises funds to support the Elle Foundation’s mission of granting final “Encore Experiences” to children battling cancer.
The day kicked off with registration and a casual lunch, as attendees prepared for a full afternoon on the course. Golfers enjoyed friendly competition, on-course contests including Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin, and warm weather throughout the day. The evening concluded with a dinner reception and the always-popular tricky tray raffle featuring a wide array of generously donated prizes.
Thanks to the incredible support of sponsors, participants, and the OINJ community, the outing raised a remarkable total of $56,232.32 in net proceeds to benefit the Elle Foundation. The funds will help grant meaningful experiences to children facing terminal cancer diagnoses.
One such child is John, an 18-year-old courageously battling cancer for the third time. Just days after the event, the Elle Foundation received a rush application for John's "Encore Experience"—a golf-themed wish, scheduled to take place August 17–21. The timing and nature of John’s wish make this year’s outing feel especially meaningful.
OINJ is proud to support the Elle Foundation and its inspiring mission. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated, volunteered, and donated to make the event a success—and we look forward to building on that success in the years ahead.
