We’re Voted #1 in Sussex County Again

Jul 26, 2018

Thanks to our patients and our community, The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey (OINJ) has again secured the distinction of winning the New Jersey Herald Gold Readers’ Choice Award in the Best Orthopedic Office category. The competitive poll is now in its thirteenth year, and garners multiple submissions for each of 69 categories. Readers can cast their votes either by an in-paper ballot or online, choosing businesses and practices they consider outstanding. “We value our patients very highly. We are humbled that they value us as well,” says Dr. Robert DeFalco, Jr., an OINJ board certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. “This Readers’ Choice award is a great honor, and we will make sure we continue to be deserving of it every day.” Dr. Stephen Koss, another OINJ board certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in sports medicine, adds, “When you put so much out there for your patients, it is very gratifying to know that it is appreciated. Seeing that they care enough to make their voices heard is both fulfilling and encouraging — it makes us work even harder for them.” “Sometimes, I’ll see a 75-year-old hiker at one appointment followed by a 14-year-old soccer player at the next,” says Dr. Kevin White, who is an OINJ board certified orthopedic surgeon fellowship-trained in foot and ankle surgery. “Knowing that we see patients of all ages, who participate in all sorts of activities, and that all these different kinds of patients voted for us? That’s amazing, to be recognized by such a diverse group.” The practice has two Sussex County offices: one in Newton, located at 222 High Street, Suite 202, and the other in Sparta, at 376 Lafayette Road, Suite 202. To make an appointment, please call (908) 684-3005. OINJ, which is known for its orthopedic expertise, targeted, innovative treatment, attentiveness to patients and efficient and organized staff, accepts most insurance plans, and the staff has privileges at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
