Sussex County, NJ — June 21, 2016 — The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey (OINJ) is pleased to announce that the practice earned the distinction of winning the New Jersey Herald Gold Readers’ Choice Award in the category of Best Orthopedic Office.
The popular and competitive annual Readers’ Choice poll, now in its eleventh year, allows the public to cast votes for their favorite businesses in 69 categories online and through an in-paper ballot. Readers select businesses and services they believe deserve to be recognized as outstanding.
Dr. Robert DeFalco, Jr., an OINJ board certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, says, “It is a great honor to be selected by our patients as the recipient of this Gold award, the highest level given. We do our best for our patients every day, and it is both gratifying and humbling to be recognized for it.”
Another OINJ physician, Dr. Stephen Koss, agrees. “Simply put, we value our patients. It is very nice to know that we are valued in return.” Dr. Stephen Koss, an OINJ board certified orthopedic surgeon, is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and has been recognized as one of America’s Top Physicians in Orthopedic Surgery for many years.
Dr. Kevin White, board certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship-trained in foot and ankle surgery, with expertise in ankle fractures, plantar fasciitis, and Achilles disorders, among others, sums it up, saying, “Our practice is diverse, and it reflects the population here. We see patients with all sorts of conditions, and get injured sports enthusiasts from kids to grandparents, hikers, bikers, you name it. We appreciate this very heartwarming sign of their approval, because it means that our care is valued by a large and varied group of patients.”
There are two Sussex County offices of the Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey: one in Newton, located at 222 High Street, Suite 202; the other in Sparta, at 380 Lafayette Road, Route 15, Suites 203/204. To make an appointment, please call (908) 684-3005.
