I am from Lake Hopatcong and have two young girls (ages 5 and 1); I love kicking the ball around in the back yard with them, going on long hikes and it has been so much better since my knee was fixed. I can do a lot more. It’s exciting. When I was about 15, I did cheerleading, softball and skiing but my knee was giving me serious issues.
My knee caps would dislocate all of the time and it was limiting me. Dr. Koss did two lateral releases on my knees back then which lasted a long time but recently my knees were giving out on me again due to a degenerative condition in them. Of course, I went back to Dr. Koss who knew exactly what to do – in short, he performed a unique procedure which aligned my muscles and replaced some tendons, leveraging the structure and cartilage that was in my knee.
Every step I take now – it’s amazing to feel what I stable knee is supposed to feel like – I thought I would be limited for life. I can’t wait to get the other knee fixed. I’m going to be doing things that I thought previously were not possible!
