He is trained in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and performs ultrasound-guided procedures. Dr. Moran earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. Following medical school, he completed his residency in Family Medicine at Crozer Health in Springfield, PA earning recognition for excellence in Sports Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Crozer Health.
Prior to this position, Dr. Moran served as team physician for the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer (MLS), Philadelphia Union II of the United Soccer League (USL), University of Delaware Athletics, and multiple high schools. He has also served on the medical staff and volunteered medical coverage for multiple events, including the Philadelphia Escape Triathlon and Special Olympics New Jersey. Dr. Moran has done podium and poster presentations on the national level. Dr. Moran is an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Moran was born and raised in North Jersey. He is happy to have returned home to help serve the community that helped raise him. He is an avid sports fan, loves to exercise, spend time with family and friends, and go down the shore in the summer.
