The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey Makes Donation to Pass It Along

AUGUSTA, NJ – Throughout this baseball season, for every home run hit by a Sussex SkyHawks player at CenturyLink Field, The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey has been generously donating $50 to Pass It Along. On August 26th, 2010 between innings of a game between the Skyhawks and the Pittsfield Colonials, Dr. Paul Teja from The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey was proud to make the check presentation to Pass It Along. On-hand to accept the donation was Kelly Bonventre, Program Coordinator at Pass It Along and Steven D’Angeli a youth volunteer with the non-profit organization. Presenting the check was Dr. Paul Teja (L) of The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey. For nearly a decade, Pass It Along has been at the forefront of educating and providing leadership skills through the concept of selfless service to youth in Northern New Jersey. Pass It Along educates youth about the pressing needs in their communities and provides a forum for them to create solutions and take action. Their program allows students to develop an ethic for service that, in turn, becomes a fundamental part of their lives forever.
